The Team You’ll Work With ...

We are seeking a Showroom Residential Sales Manager to help drive sales in the residential market. This is an opening to an amazing career with an awesome team, a well-recognized and respected brand that will provide opportunities for continued professional development and long-term promotion and advancement. The role reports to the VP of Sales. The Opportunities You’ll Have …

  • Product expertise of interior design, tile, and related products
  • Work with the VP of Sales to set, meet and exceed sales your own sales quotas as well as teams while setting new standards for initiative and efficiency among your peers
  • Lead the organization and team into a broader Bay Area expansion strategy to capture the much larger opportunity that exists for our brand to serve our client
  • Building and developing teams within the showroom channel to support new store openings across the country.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, inspire and mentor Showroom Design Consultants as part of your daily responsibilities to your team
  • Support teams professional growth and development of team to evolve skills and grow book of business
  • Maintain a book of business of top 5-10 accounts, by providing excellent follow-up and customer service, leading by example for the team.
  • Set and report on sales targets and performance for Showroom(s) including rigorous forecasting and actuals vs targets
  • Help drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives
  • Lead the organization and team into a broader Bay Area expansion strategy to capture the much larger opportunity that exists for our brand to serve our client
  • Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to evangelize Fireclay products
  • Serving as a Fireclay Tile Brand Ambassador, representing our core values including:

About You ...

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of successful experience leading, motivating, and developing a highly dynamic and aggressive sales team
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales objectives
  • You are magnetic and charismatic when interacting with clients, team and prospects across all levels
  • Must possess strong communication skills, a strong worth ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to coach and mentor others in a sales environment
  • Strong project management, data analysis and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency and navigates first-to-market sales tools, reference materials, and digital training resources; Embraces social media platforms such as Instagram, Houzz, Pinterest, and LinkedIn to sell products and services
  • Possesses a solution-oriented philosophy with client projects, sales targets, and when collaborating with team members
  • Delights in problem-solving using right and left brain thinking; merging logical + creative  
  • Understands the basics of luxury design and interior decorating
  • Nimble and courageous in taking calculated risks that achieve results
