Job Description

MJM Architects, LLC provides architectural, planning, interior design and structural engineering services to our clients on a wide range of commercial projects. MJM has professionals licensed in all 50 states, 2 Canadian provinces, and Australia with currently over 200 active projects in more than 25 states. We currently have a staff of 40 people and are located in the 100 Oaks area of Nashville, MJM Architects provides a high energy work environment for emerging professionals.

MJM is seeking skilled, self-motivated individuals with 3-15 years’ experience in commercial, industrial, mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects. Individual must exhibit clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment, possess a dynamic energy that thrives in a fast-paced environment and the capacity to confront challenges. Responsibilities will vary with position but will include architectural conceptualization and design, production of construction documents and direct client interaction. Responsibilities:

  • Perform as part of a team that works with some of the biggest and well known companies in the United States.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of a project with internal and external team members, including senior management, clients, GC’s, permitting departments and design team consultants.
  • Self-manage projects from design development through project close-out with the assistance of a senior project manager.
  • Ability to travel when needed, as much of our work is out of state.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Competency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Minimum of a bachelor degree in architecture or five years of comparable experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient time management and problem-solving skills
  • Adept at working independently and collaboratively
  • Understanding of Adobe and Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Proficiency in preparing and reading construction documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Revit: 3 years (Required)
