Job Overview

MJM Architects, LLC provides architectural, planning, interior design and structural engineering services to our clients on a wide range of commercial projects. MJM has professionals licensed in all 50 states, 2 Canadian provinces, and Australia with currently over 200 active projects in more than 25 states. We currently have a staff of 45 people and are located in the 100 Oaks area of Nashville, MJM Architects provides a high energy work environment for emerging professionals.

MJM is seeking skilled, self-motivated individuals who have recently graduated from an accredited architectural program and have between 0-3 years of experience. Architectural drafters / project coordinators with similar experience will also be considered. Individual must exhibit clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment, possess a dynamic energy that thrives in a fast-paced environment and the capacity to confront challenges. Responsibilities will vary with experience but will include drafting, design, and production of construction documents under the direction of a Project Architect/Manager. MJM offers its staff the ability to develop their careers through supported growth, a mentoring program, and support of the IDP process towards licensure. Project Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Work under direct supervision of the Project Architect/Manager.
  • Independently coordinate multiple projects simultaneously from schematic design to construction administration.
  • Prepare and coordinate construction documents utilizing internal and external design team members.
  • Create three-dimensional building information modeling and two-dimensional construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Assist in managing the flow of information to the project team, including in-house staff and multiple engineering consultants to develop properly coordinated and technically accurate construction documents.

Experience Requirements:

  • 0-3 years minimum experience as a graduate architect or draftsman on commercial or residential projects. Preference will be given to candidates with job or internship experience.
  • Ability to solve complex design issues, both individually and in a team format.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit, SketchUp experience is required.
  • General knowledge of general architectural practice and process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
