We are seeking a Junior Designer with 1-3 years of varied project experience in the interior design field with strong design and visualization skills.

The Junior Designer will be involved in all stages of the interior design of projects, from initial client interaction through completion.  Team, time, and task management skills are a must.  Attention to detail, and a passion for Interior Design are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing client presentations
  • Assist in preparing construction documents
  • Sourcing project items
  • Materials library maintenance and organization
  • Sample ordering and organizing
  • Scheduling vendor meetings
  • Mart and other vendor trips to review and select materials
  • Assist in project installations and coordination

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or Interior Architecture
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 1-3 years of work experience in residential, multi-family, or hospitality

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong design skills from concept to completion
  • Strong Proficiency in Auto CAD and Sketchup
  • Basic Revit Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of Millwork details
  • Strong Proficiency in Adobe CS, specifically Photoshop and InDesign
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detailed oriented and organized
  • Excellent knowledge of vendors, products, materials, shopping, and resourcing
  • Strong team player and ability to multi-task where needed
