We have openings in our New York office for designers and project architects with a passion for thoughtful, forward-thinking design. The ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 5-10 years of work experience in an architectural or interior design firm on large commercial office, mixed-use, civic, academic, cultural, or other complex projects with experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing project teams, creating project proposals and fees, reviewing contracts and invoices, and interfacing with clients
• Capable of leading multiple projects independently as well as collaborating on larger-scale projects as part of a team. Ability to balance demands on multiple projects at various stages of development.
• Ability to develop designs with an understanding of building systems, sustainability requirements, accessibility, and code compliance for solutions that are unique and engaging while tailored to the client’s vision and project requirements.
• Strong technical knowledge of Type I, Type II construction, construction detailing, building materials, and systems.
• Experience in LEED documentation and certification, space programming, space planning, workplace strategy, entitlements, planning approvals, and other relevant facets of commercial architecture and planning is desirable.
• Design and documentation experience using Revit required.
• The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect in the State of New York.

Qualities desired to excel in this role include an ability to be facile at problem-solving, and strong presentation and communication skills. An aptitude for strong design and an ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment is also sought and valued.
