WHAT WE NEED…

Our Interiors studio in Nashville seeks a talented Interiors Project Manager to take on full responsibility for project profitability, schedule, and budget. We need a well-rounded Project Manager who gets excited about creating healthy, uplifting environments and has a keen ability to manage projects from start to finish. In short, we want an Interiors Project Manager as remarkable as we are. We want someone who understands how to plan a project and keep the client happy. We need someone who can manage consultants and inspire internal teams. We want a PM who attacks each new challenge with the knowledge that last week’s answer doesn’t fit this week’s question; a true project team leader who is always seeking to learn more and apply what they’ve learned to make those around them better.

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

The only thing routine about us is that we are constantly unleashing innovation. Our routine is that there is no routine. On any given day you will (among other things)… One of our favorite things about this profession is the variety. Our routine is that there is no routine. On any given day you may (among other things):

  • Consult with clients to determine function and spatial requirements, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
  • Serve as a primary client liaison responsible to complete projects to satisfy the client’s goals.
  • Implement all phases of a design project which includes contracts, budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, documentation, and construction (including the selection and specification of furniture).
  • Inspire, plan, organize, and manage the work of project teams.
  • Foster and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship across teams.
  • Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with consultants, contractors, and agencies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE…

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture
  • 7+ years of professional experience, inclusive of at least 2 years of project management experience in Interiors projects
  • Advanced knowledge of furniture types, vendors, fixtures and equipment, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art signage, color, and materials to carryout design intent.
  • Working knowledge of REVIT.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize activities and provide high quality service to clients.
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal management skills.
  • Experience negotiating project scope and fees.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and standards.
